How
and where to hang
Remember that the centre of a painting must hang at the same high of our
eyes, at 1.70 meters high and it has its own aura that's why some free
space must be let around it. If the painting is over furniture, this will
work as a " Visual Suport" and it should not be larger as the
furniture and it should also keep a distance of 20 to 30 cm from it.
Another important aspect is that in each room there must be a decoration
that makes a good balance with the painting. For example not every paintings
in one room must be costumbrist or abstract, perhaps both of them can
be a good choice.
Many times when the hall and the dinnig room are together (a common wall),
the paintings can work separating each area.
How
to illuminate the paintings
The paintings must have a good ilumination in the morning ( natural light)
and in the night ( artificial light). Here we can see some examples:

Ascendant light, in order to illuminate from the bottom.
PICTURE 2:

from the ceiling.
PICTURE 3:

________
How
to group the paintings
The most important thing is that the composition
must keep an order. A watcher that looks the group must be able to see
the form of the composition. Others aspects can be the colour of the frame,
the theme, size, colour of the painting, etc.
ADVICE: Before starting its better to make a plan with the size of the
wall and the paintings. You should start with the big ones.
